Tasting Color. Orange Edition

TASTING COLOR: a Seven Senses Feast is a sensorial dinner series, each curated to explore a specific color.

Created by Sabrina Y. Smith, the series brings together local artists, artisans and makers, for a creative collaboration between food, design, art, and music.

The experience is based on the Seven Senses color issue featuring Sophie Calle’s ‘Chromatic Diet’ photo series, which was inspired by a fictional character in Paul Auster’s novel ‘Leviathan,’ who only ate color-coordinated meals.

The ORANGE edition will be hosted by Seven Senses at Jōdo Saké bar in Los Angeles (near Silverlake) on February 24, 2026.

It will feature seven tastes with a vegetarian menu created by chef Tracy Tober, whose cooking portfolio includes collaborations and commissions with The Food Network, Cookbook Market and chefs Sonoko Sakai, Gordon Ramsay, Lora Zarubin, and Grace Bush-Vineberg. Orange cocktails and wine included.

We’ve partnered with BAUER pottery to serve the dinner on their beautiful locally-made ceramics.

Guests will also be treated to a special dance performance by Jasmine Albuquerque and take home cannabis samples from Miss Grass.

“The most picturesque dinner party ever.” Time Out
